  New town-themed web site

Hi, I'm a new member of Lugnet, and I've just scanned pictures of my LEGO city and posted them on the following web site: (URL) a pretty good-sized city with a host of different buildings and some train stuff. Check it out. I hope you enjoy it. (24 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Hi Brad, Welcome to Lugnet! Great town; I can't wait t see your second city. I especially liked your modifications to your train. It looks so much better than the stock kit! Build on! Joe (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) This looks great! I like how you mixed the old and new elements! Nice train! One suggestion: try to get rid of the POOP(piece made of other pieces) walls. Once again, great! I'd like to have my town that big! Alan crossposted to .town so the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

(...) Brad, Welcome to LUGNET! Great Town! Architecturally very interesting. Cant wait to se the 2nd town. Based on what you have built so far, I think that you would be a great candidate for new LEGO bulk orders. This will be a new service (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) There are some in the DACTA sets(www.lego.com/da...tline.asp, then click on IT and Control). You might be able to get these from Pitsco LEGO DACTA (www.pitsco-legodacta.com) or The Construction Site (www.constructiontoys.com), but I haven't (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Some of the buildings in LEGO City 1 were constructed at a time when my suplies for a certain kind of brick were running low. Thus, I was forced to use the POOP constrution method. In my LEGO City 2, I've been a bit better about this due to better (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

I wasn't able to find any of those sorts of windows there. Set 6199, Hydro Crystalation Station, comes with 2 green bubble windows (they go well with the new Police theme), but I can't find anything with clear versions. Thanks for the tip though. I (...) I don't think you really want to hear about the set that has the windows: It costs $267.00 and has 527 pieces. Set D979701. It has 2 side pieces and 2 corners. These are the really big ones. I need 2 more to complete my train station. The set also (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yes, DACTA is a great thing, having many great parts. The set is 9701, but it costs $267:(, but I didn't know that earlier. Alan (24 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)
