Actually, they don't build it, they just get to put their name on it. The
Chevrolet Venture (also known as Oldsmobile Silhouette and Pontiac Montana.
Pontiac Trans Sport to those in Canada. Vauxhall Sintra to those in the UK.
Opel Sintra and Chevrolet Trans Sport to those in Europe) is built by GM in
Doraville, Georgia. The difference is that the Warner Brothers Edition is just
a trim level, with WB badging. Over at the dealer, they install a LEGO
playtable thing made by Johnson Controls. I saw it in Detroit. Very nice
concept, just too bad they had to make the deal with GM (no offense to GM
owners, I just hate GM).

Well, my friend and I just used a (modified) 48x48 baseplate to do the same thing with her Ford Tempo. The lower part of her dashboard on the passenger site, previously used for cups of coffee and such, is now a Lego tabletop. It's attached with (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

JC is not picky, they're brand agnostic and will sell to any auto firm that will buy. GM just happened to be first, and let us hope, not last. But I hear you, GM stinketh. (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

I picked up my USA Today newspaper and was reading the Money section and at the North American Auto Show they had picutes of the Chevy Venture Bros. Edition which has the TV. It says that Lego and Warner Bros. build the minivan. The car has a lego (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
