  Lego in Chevy Venture

I picked up my USA Today newspaper and was reading the Money section and at the North American Auto Show they had picutes of the Chevy Venture Bros. Edition which has the TV. It says that Lego and Warner Bros. build the minivan. The car has a lego (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego in Chevy Venture

(...) Actually, they don't build it, they just get to put their name on it. The Chevrolet Venture (also known as Oldsmobile Silhouette and Pontiac Montana. Pontiac Trans Sport to those in Canada. Vauxhall Sintra to those in the UK. Opel Sintra and (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego in Chevy Venture

Well, my friend and I just used a (modified) 48x48 baseplate to do the same thing with her Ford Tempo. The lower part of her dashboard on the passenger site, previously used for cups of coffee and such, is now a Lego tabletop. It's attached with (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

JC is not picky, they're brand agnostic and will sell to any auto firm that will buy. GM just happened to be first, and let us hope, not last. But I hear you, GM stinketh. (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego in Chevy Venture

(...) I have to disagree here. We have a Chevy Venture, and an Oldsmobile Intrigue and I think both are great. The Venture was the first with a power sliding door, and that was one of the reasons we got it. It also can hold 4x8 sheets of material (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

They also have a power lifting tailgate. (...) Chrysler was the first with this. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego in Chevy Venture

(...) What about the Chevy Camaro, Corvette, and Pontiac Firebird? C'mon, GM makes the only American sports car--they can't be that bad. Plenty of GM concept cars look pretty cool too. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Lego in Chevy Venture

(...) I didn't say it was best, but it was the only power door available when I bought our first van. Also, the Venture door (passenger side only) is automatic, but can also be opened manually. I would like the auto on both sides, but just having a (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Fix Or Repair Daily (was: Re: Lego in Chevy Venture)

(trying desperately to pull back on-topic) A Ford would be built outta Megablocks. A Chevy would be built out of Tyco. A Toyota would be built out of LEGO!!! (I miss my Tyco, but I won't trade my lego for it.) --Colin (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) You posted this in off-topic... So you're off-topic in .off-topic. Being on-topic is expressly off-topic in off-topic. Confused yet? (...) ITYM: Any GM or Ford cars would be built outta Mecabloks. Any Japanese cars would be built outta Tyco. A (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
