Y2K Metroliner / Fast Freight / Bullet Train set. Lots of track (your
going to need it). Exploding trains (parts borrowed from 6755). Comes
complete with BURP-tunnels (you really don't want to see what happens in
there). No speed regulator, everything runs flat out ;)
Y2K Panama Canal Set (~50K pcs). Watch the new owners/operators of the
Panama Canal deal with recalcitrant hardware. RBRs and BSBs optional.
Plenty of plam trees and tug-trains.

| (...) You know, they said this about Suez in 1956. ;) One modification: The set does not include working motors for the tug-trains. Purchase set #xxxx, "Panama Corvée Crew," to pull the ships along and work the locks/pumps with good ol' fashioned (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

| I am among the poor souls still waiting for the 2000 LEGO. I went to a WM in McAlester, OK yesterday, and there was a new cardboard standee on the main aisle. My heart leapt with joy! And there was not a single new set in the damned thing. 'twas (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
