Any others? I know some of you can do better than this!

Y2K Panama Canal Set (~50K pcs). Watch the new owners/operators of the
Panama Canal deal with recalcitrant hardware. RBRs and BSBs optional.
Plenty of plam trees and tug-trains.

You know, they said this about Suez in 1956.  ;)

One modification:  The set does not include working motors for the
tug-trains.  Purchase set #xxxx, "Panama Corvée Crew," to pull the ships
along and work the locks/pumps with good ol' fashioned Y2K-compliant
muscle-power.  Warning:  Best to purchase this set with #xxxy, "Labour Press
Gang" (which does not refer to the paparazzi who follow Tony and Cherie
around).

best,

Lindsay

(...) Y2K Metroliner / Fast Freight / Bullet Train set. Lots of track (your going to need it). Exploding trains (parts borrowed from 6755). Comes complete with BURP-tunnels (you really don't want to see what happens in there). No speed regulator, (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
