Michael Jackson's TRILLER - LEGO Version

A friend of mine set me this link of Michael Jackson's TRILLER video done in LEGO! It's 13 min 43 sec long and well done except for the low res. Its still very cool and well done! (URL) -AHui A&M LWorks (URL) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-05, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

(...) I too had the same dream but in a bit warmer climate. There used to be this old church for sale on Amelia Island in Florida that I thought would be a great location for a LEGO museum / shop. Of course I need to win the lottery or something so (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

I have contacted them about a week ago, they said they'd get back to me, but no contact since then. I'd love a place that I can reach in 2 hours, and where I can park my Lego collection. If this turns out to be a legit museum, I'll be more than (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Zemi.net Weblog: Submit Your News

(...) Thanks! I want all sorts of stuff. Cool new MOCs and all sorts of other news like contests, forums and events all sound great. This is sort of an experiment so I'm open to many ideas.   Re: Zemi.net Weblog: Submit Your News

(...) Hey Jon, Cool idea. What sort of thing are you looking for? Do you want every new cool MOC to go up, or more community news like contests, new forums, etc.? Bruce (21 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Zemi.net Weblog: Submit Your News

I just added a news submission page to (URL) Zemi> that will let you submit your LEGO news to the weblog. The link is at the top of the Blog. One of my ideas is for the weblog to become a one-stop LEGO newsblog similar to sites like BOING BOING or (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: highlighting

(...) I will answer the "can" questions and the "should" questions are just opinion. Yes, you "can" highlight your own post and yes Admins "can" highlight another Admins post. IMO as for "should", Admins are readers and part of the hobby as well, so (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Language Choices and LUGNET

(...) Maybe the phrase "a place where most English-speaking communities connect" would be a more accurate term for LUGNET, since "center" does imply the other communities would orbit around LUGNET, which I don't think is accurate. So thanks for (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  highlighting

I have three questions on highlighting. 1. Can one highlight one's own post? (I’m not a member, so I do not know). 2. Can Admin-A highlight Admin-B's Admin post? (should they be able to?) 3. Should Admins be able to highlight any post in any group? (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Language Choices and LUGNET

(...) Hey, I just wanted to modify the original "LUGNET is pretty much the de facto center of the English-speaking AFOL community." to suggest that we're the center of the non-theme-specific English-speaking AFOL community. Perhaps I'm just being a (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  A time of transition

Hey all, This post is more of a way to collect my own thoughts than it is to express them to everyone, but it seems like the right thing to do since others may share my perspective and be happy to see that they're not alone. Depending on your own (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.general) !

  Re: Language Choices and LUGNET

(...) Fear not, Political Correctness(TM) is not encroaching on LUGNET. I'm not sure how to equate "be respectful of each other" with my definition of political correctness, which is closer to "you must value what I value." I certainly don't expect (...)   Language Choices and LUGNET

The issue of profanity on LUGNET has raised many hackles, and I can't say I blame most of the people who have expressed unhappiness. The rules are vague, the punishments appear somewhat arbitrary, the entire reason for having language guidelines (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general, FTX) !!
