  Re: Target and Kohls

(...) Good question, I don't really know the answer to that one... I was kinda peeved that they wouldn't honor the % off sale withou my having bought them at the other store first.. What good would that do me unless I was trying to buy out the (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wi.eau, lugnet.general)

  A bad idea

This would probably be a bad idea but I had fun considering it: Lego bricks with silkscreened photographs on them -some possible uses: * build a picture with bricks, like a puzzle * neat patterns printed on bricks to be used anywhere * rearrange the (...)   upcoming books from Lego

Hi, all, Enough of my nitpicking - time for some actual content. What does anyone know about these? All are by Amazon.com as "Paperback / Published 1998 (Not Yet Published -- On Order)".   Good baseplates

I just opened set #6079 Dark Forest Fortress ($24.49 at Costco, tons left at Kirkland,WA store) and couldn't believe what a great baseplate came in it. It is just perfect for a curved road section with some terrain. I am now going back to get a (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

Question: #3026 bulk bucket piece count?

Somewhere sometime someone showed me a printout listing the detailed piece counts of the silver-brick anniversary edition tubs. Anyone have this information? (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 1st post?

(...) Do you have any of the plastic sails from the various sailboard sets (also seen in Time Twisters and Ninja hang-gliders)? Maybe those could be used to make lighter, wider blades. Steve (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Blockbuster promotion ending

In my case, in 2 of the 3 BBs I have gone to, they just let me have them, and the one store had no problem with me taking 5 of one set. I'll be back there tomorrow ;-) They're cheesy little Freestyle sets, but better than the McD's CRAP. And I want (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Blockbuster promotion ending

(...) Hrmmm, are there pictures of these up anywhere? I called and the BB closest to me does not have them and hasn't, but they said another BB in town did. Something about franchises (here anyway) not getting their shipments even though the (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 1st post?

(...) Same, here, I'm no scientist, or that bright in matters technical...... My designs had utilised a single axle to hold the thingie with the blades. I had been successful in getting it to turn with a minimum of 2x 2x16 plates x3 for blades. (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Blockbuster promotion ending

UPDATE. Yesterday, out of the blue, our local Bb had the 3331 "plane" and 3333 copter in stock, free, take as many as you want. So, uh, I did. Took near 20 of each, and barely dented their supply. NO posters up, and an employee said "this is the 2nd (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.general)

  BURPS vs. Playmobil Rock Sys.

As I was looking through Playmobil's '98 catalog I noticed their "rock system." Each rock is a rounded stone shape piece of plastic that can connect to another rock. I thought it was interesting because the rocks could be combined to make large rock (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: www.lugnet.com

Mike, dude, haven't you hung shelves right off of the ceiling yet, and stacked them out of the way? I might do that soon, as I have cathedral ceilings in my apt, and there is so much "wasted" space in the computer room ;-) (...) (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.general)
