  What happened to Brickshelf?

  Re: Just build.....

(...) Well said, my friend. I've got plenty of thoughts on everything going on around here lately but I don't think airing them does anyone any good. Let's face it--some will always find the worst in a situation, some will always find the best, and (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Happy Holidays oh and by way "Head for High Ground!"

What a day we had yesterday at the Enfield Model Shop. Ever since we moved into our new digs in the Compass House on the Enfield campus, Shows & Events has had problems with the heating and cooling in our room. So with the sub-freezing temperatures (...)   The Night Before the Night Before

As the snow falls silently by my window, and my children are outside building an "awesome" snow fort, I decided to share my simple little Lego plan with friends I have met through this hobby. Both of my boys each got me one copy of the Hockey (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto) !

NELUG at Greenberg Train and Toy show December 18 and 19

The gallery on the NELUG web site has been updated with pictures from our appearance at the December Greenberg Train and Toy show in Wilmington MA.   Re: I'll deserve coal next year!

(...) Penne does work VERY well for this. It's not so funny when, as an AFOL, someone does this to you with a non-Lego gift, however. Two Christmases ago my then-girlfriend did that to me; she found a box that was JUST the right dimensions for Lego, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

4886 Building Bonanza available in North America!

Hi all, I just found out on Classic Castle that (URL) Building Bonanza> is available in North America! US$39.99, or CDN$59.99 (for 667 non-juniorized pieces that's quite the deal!) I'd buy a few for myself if it didn't come with... err nevermind. (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Ah, the sounds of the season that we're all too familiar with. (...) Richie, Great idea with the pasta and empty Lego boxes! I'll have to try that next year - back to being a pain as I can't keep getting Laurette jewelry. Merry Christmas (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

Re: I'll deserve coal next year!

(...) -snipped lots of fun stuff- A couple of years ago, my wife (Beth) opened all the boxes of lego she was giving me and padded the contents.   Re: I'll deserve coal next year!

(...) Oh great! Why does this happen? Those lines that go on forever? Looked great on the preview. And now I'm being told that I can't even post this due to the quotes above being too long or high in %. I wonder if I just add any ol gobbily gook (...)   I'll deserve coal next year!

My wife Laurette is the one who helped end my dark ages 14 years ago by placing a 25 piece 6811 Pulsar Charger (URL) in my Christmas stocking as a gag gift. That gag gift's piece count has since been squared and squared again (25 X 25 X 25 X 25). I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

  Re: Who's this

(...) Actually, only the first one looks like it has serious modification. I built a hit & miss engine similar to the blue one when I was a kid, although I didn't have a compressor to run it, so it didn't run as fast as his or as long :) You'd be (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Hey Scott!!! (One of the AFOLs I went to lunch with while working in Ann Arbor 4 years ago) How's it going! Too bad about "W" winning, huh ;-) (running for cover).
