  Many variations of older sets

I was just looking at set #700 in the LUGNET database. There were 17 items under this heading. That number will be getting bigger. The #700/1 set shows 2 different versions of the set in the Lugnet database (the 1949-52 and 1958-59 version). (...) (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

About the Minifig Hall of Fame

I have received only one offer to take over Minifigville.com and the Minifig Hall of Fame. While the offer is interesting, it's not exactly what I had in mind, so I thought of anothe rpossibility. I would like to know if anyone is interested in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

I picked up set #65535 X-Pod Play Off Game Pack at our local (three hour drive away) TRU this weekend. It includes all five (including the black) X-Pods, a game board and some game cards.   Superhero Minifigs: Mr. Freeze

My first DC character Mr. Freeze. It's built mainly out of standard parts. The only modifications are the goggles I painted on Snape's head and the helmet, which I had to cut to fit over the shoulder armor. It worked out better than expected, the (...)   Re: talent revealed

(...) Just to add to deborah's links, here is another example of Norberts fine art: (URL) The Space-heads in our club were particularly keen on this item. Play well. Tim Strutt (21 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, FTX)

Anatomy of a Shop At Home group order

A few days ago, in this thread: (URL) mentioned the large group order that we (my co-workers & I) do every year about this time. This was our third annual and largest order yet. I'm not sure how many other people do this in their office/workplace or (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Piece count in Lugnet Set Database

Hi there, a lot of sets in the lugnet set database have no piece count although they are listed at peeron's.   Re: Brickshelf

(...) There is a note at the top of the Brickshelf home page regarding database problems. I sent an email to the address given, and Kevin got my missing folder (and contents) restored in short order. (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  Brickshelf

Re: 4679 Variations (was Re: What a trip I had to Markville!)

(...) Thanks for posting those Tim. The one in St. Catharines had 2 2714's. I don't know if there are more there. The store clerk found the 2 I bought in their store room (not on the floor).   Re: Most redundant Lego part

(...) Yes, but then TLG would need to create 1x4x4 arches if you want to make a colonnade with 1x5x4 (half arches) and the 1x4 arches. Or perhaps a 1x4x3 arch to go along with the 1x12x3 arches in a colonnade. Or if you wanted 1x6x2 arches with the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Most redundant Lego part

(...) Functionally yes, aesthetically no. If you're abutting 1x6x2 and 1x4 arches (in a colonade say - (URL) using 1x4 arches with 1x1 bricks to make up the height is just not as pleasing as using 1x4x2 arches - sorry but I don't like the extra seam (...)   Parts I'd like to see

I know there was a thread a while back in which people listed parts they'd like to see made. I didn't have any luck with searching (is finding things on LUGNET hard for anyone else?), so I thought I'd start a new thread about it with a part I was (...)
