Re: Another questionable decision from lego...

(...) Well not knowing any details, I'd suggest they probably asked for the word LEGO to be removed from the animations, and because that was too difficult the Tom guy probably decided to delete them instead. I've never heard of TLC asking people to (...) (22 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Another questionable decision from lego...

I just read one of the news articles on the Newgrounds website (place where people upload Flash and stop-motion animations) that said they had to delete over 100 Lego stop-motion animations because it was demanded by Lego's lawyers. The origional (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: 4886: First building since the minifig to have 4 walls?

(...) Thanks, Jojo, you beat me to the punch. I was going to mention the sets with the hinge bricks like #376 and also #375/#6075 the Yellow Castle, which also technically had 4 walls and hinge bricks. This is a real nice set. The only thing that (...) (22 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: So TLC can build and sell decent sets if they really want to...

(...) Hi, we've got the new catalogue of the second half of 2004 (pic1) on May 25th. The dealer (well known to us) showed us the brandnew two-sheet dealer-info of #4886, too and allowed Thekla to make a photo. The pics were posted on 1000steine.de, (...)   Re: 4886: First building since the minifig to have 4 walls?

Hello! (...) In the early days of the Minifig the buildings were designed to have four walls but could be opened. Sets 374 and 376 come to my mind there: [LEGOSet 3741] [LEGOSet 3762] It's a pity there ain't minifigs included with the new set 4886. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

4886: First building since the minifig to have 4 walls?

Getting 4886 today got me thinking... is this the first LEGO building since the introduction of the minifig to have 4 walls? Nothing jumps out at me while browing Town sets at Brickset; they all have the back wall open for the 'hand of God' to place (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
