I think the idea is make a "working set" depending on what you like. Some sorted, some not. I keep a good amount of sorted Lego in 3 39-drawer cabinets. Hello, while I would not say I have too much Lego, I certainly have a chore in maintaining it all. So, what I do is keep one color out that I can work with. Try that. I would argue that only one of these is a "loss" in the sense of shrinkage. The other two are planned (...) This is a planned loss, you used the bricks to make something. (...) This is shrinkage... (...) We have experienced noticable losses at three events: Shrine show, where we used bricks to make ornaments for the tree, as Paul mentioned. COSI show, where everything is hands on...
