2004 Alpha Team: The Good, the Bad, and the Jack Stone

Hey all, Much to my surprise, my local consignment shop had the complete theme. After looking over all the sets, I bought #4743 Ice Blade ($10) and #4742 Chill Speeder ($4). The idea seems to be Alpha Team meets Ice Planet 2002 with a dash of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Designer sets 4506 (Sea) and 4507 (Prehistoric)

Greetings and Salutations, I am a big fan of the new Designer series. When I saw 4506 "Sea Predators" and 4507 "Prehistoric Creatures" appear on S@H, I ordered them right away! They arrived today and I spent all evening assembling a few of the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Blue tub 3033

I have never seen a blue tub 3033 in Belgium (has it ever been available in Europe?). I only know of its existence via AFOL webpages (mostly from the USA). Untill know...   Help identifying 2x8 brick with single hole

In a collection of parts (probably from mid-late 70s) I found a 2x8 red brick that has a single hole in the top/middle of it - between the 4th and 5th studs. The hole is about the same diameter as the classic antenna pieces. Anyone know which set(s) (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: What would be the LEGO equivalent to the new Barbie clothing line?

(...) 10030 fulfilled my fantasies. The first time I saw Star Wars on the big screen I wanted to build a Star Destroyer out of LEGO. I did not have enough bricks to do it justice.   Modified Lego and new uses for old pieces.

Although I don't condone modifying Lego, I have to say I don't discourage it either. One example that I use, is removing faces off of Minifig heads. A few alcohol wipes do nicely. I get some nice 1x1 fat round bricks this way. I have already (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
