 | | X-Pod Play Off game included in LEGO magazine

|
I discovered the X-Pod Play Off game today, included in the most recent LEGO magazine. Has anyone else had a chance to look at, or even play this game yet? I like this idea for several reasons. 1) It involves the X-Pods which I think are going to be (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.games, lugnet.general)

(...) I'm just going for brick sizes that could do the work of what would involve two or more bricks or having to stack plates: 1. 3x4 brick, any color 2. 4x4 brick, any color (funny how you can get it in a plate but not a brick) 3. 4x8 brick, any (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) For me that's about right, I average about 4000 Euro's a year (for the last 2-3 years) not counting stuff I resell. (...) I keep about 90% of the stuff I buy these days, the sales are only to partially cover costs of expanding my own (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) As with most things, diversity is good. I, personally, talk with the parents / adults. *I* view the adults as the "target audience" for what I do. I am not sure about the rest of the club... cause we haven't really discussed it. I have to (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.events)

 | | Are new colors in old sets yet?
|
|
I'm planning to buy some extra pre-2004 sets to increase my supply of old gray, while I can. I'd like to help support TLC by buying directly from S@H, rather than hunting for discounts elsewhere. But this raises an important question: Are there sets (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.general)

(...) No problem! Well if it makes you feel any better, my order history on the web doesn't reflect my changes either. Which makes me wonder what the point of having a "order history" is!! I think I'll call them in a few days to inquire about that, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Thanks for letting me know. I called in this morning and asked them apply the discount. I also added a few bags, so I have 4 grey bricks, and 3 of the other five bags. My order history on the web site doesn't reflect the changes. I hope they (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) "My Parts" on Peeron.com allows you to export a parts list based on your Lugnet set inventories. It would be interesting to try and narrow your collection pieces down to the essential 10,000. Surely I could make do with somewhat fewer than 260 (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

According to my LUGNET set list, I have 112,000 pieces, which I consider to be a pretty large collection. I haven't kept track of the quantities of pieces I've bought from Bricklink and ebay, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's anywhere from 20 to (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
