  Re: Too much Lego?

(...) To each their own. Even the most extravagant Lego train hobbiest can't hold a candel to the modle train guys spending $300+ for a single locomotive.-Ken (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

  Too much Lego?

The recent discussions about the color change and people's buying habits got me thinking about how much we as individuals spend on Lego. In particular, at least a couple of people in this thread ((URL) admitted to spending between $2,000-$5,000 or (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Medium Blue alongside Gray in 4728 Privet Drive

(...) Sorry Tom but what you're calling regular gray is gone. I don't buy your arguments in general either. The model of the Ford was for a 6-wide Lego model a remarkable piece of work. For the scale it looks very much like the original. Plus it (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Clubs/Events - Tips and Tricks

I am writing things up for our club, and will get you a copy once finished. In brief, the number one thing is getting a club started, is, as stated by others, leadership. I started COLTC just over 1 year ago by emailing 5 people that had posted to (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.events)

Medium Blue alongside Gray in 4728 Privet Drive

I just built the car from 4728 Privet drive this past weekend: (URL) was my first experience with the new medium blue color. I think this is a fantastic new color and I really like how it complements regular blue. I do have to say that it doesn't (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

some Octan and World City Police MOCs

This is a combination of an evidence storeroom and a communications center. Its used to store valuables like gold, gems/jewels, money etc. The safes around the walls hold gold and money.   Re: most wanted parts that dont exist?

It's impossible for me to limit it to just 5! I have about two or three notebook pages dedicated to this very thing. So, with my apologies, here's some highlights from my longish wish list...   Re: More opinions needed - possible future Legends

(...) First of all - address and repair the color issue, then we'll talk about some potential Legends. I really don't want Legends reissued in the horrible new colors. Max (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)
