Re: Searching for colours on Bricklink?

(...) There are two things that can make this task a lot easier (besides picking a color that's a lot more common: 1. Peeron.com.   Re: Cleaning old Lego

(...) It's entirely possible. I've noticed that there are two distinct versions of the old classic brown when produced in ABS (just the harder plastic used for 2x4 bricks, not the softer plastics), but they only really show up under blacklight. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

  Searching for colours on Bricklink?

Hi all! I am searching for colours on bricklink, to be exact I am looking for bricks or plates in Dark Blue, up to 3 studs long (1x1, 1x2, 1x3) I haven't found them, but I am not going to look through every single shop there to find it. Is there (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.general)

I've got an old electric toothbrush which is great for dusting and cleaning (as long as the dirt isnt to heavy - or sticky) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Cleaning old Lego

  Re: Problem with integration

(...) The simplest solution is to buy duplicate sets. The cheapest is to suck it up and part them out. Somewhere in between is parting out sets that you're no longer very interested in and buying other parts on Bricklink. (22 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Cleaning old Lego

(...) Bleach is great for dirt, but yellowing of ABS is caused by a chemical breakdown of the plastic molecules, not surface dirt. ABS is not UV-stable, and natural ABS (which has a milky beige color) will turn brown and brittle/powdery over time. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Problem with integration

(...) I know what you mean... Right now I have 2 collections (well 2.5 actually) One is my sets, which are taken apart to conserve space and sorted into about 50 boxes. Then the other are bricks I buy on Bricklink/eBay and other occaisions. Those I (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Fun LEGO purchase

(...) These boxes were most likely filled with production leftovers... quality is a mixed bag (I've had half a dozen bad 2*3 sloped light-grey so far) but there's a nice selection.   Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?
