 | | I need HELP!
| (no not that kind of help) Hey all, I am currently planning a Lego train show in Winfield Illinois for dec.6-7th (see flyer: (URL)) and I have a problem. I have a 35ft x 35ft room to fill and no clue as to what to put in it. I had a layout for the (...) | | | | | Re: Update on color issue
| (...) Jake, Thanks for the update! As one of the more vocal color change critics, I certainly appreciate your efforts to get more information out to the LUGNET community. I also am glad to hear that you are bringing our concerns back to TLC, and (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)
| | | | | Re: New colors and other info
| (...) Heheh, that reminds me, I need to buy a new one... (...) I only came back to LUGNET a couple weeks ago, to check out local info on sales. I hadn't looked at any other group, but the Colours thread spotlighted on the home page caught my eye. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
| | | | | New MOC: Brickmond Estates (Mobile Home Park)
| As part of my month-long buildingpalooza leading up to the next RichLUG Train Show*, I completed another residential themed creation to add to our City of Brickmond town display. This time I whipped up Brickmond Estates a neighborhood that can (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.org.us.richlug, lugnet.general) !
| | | | | Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan
| (...) Gee, perhaps Im worried BECAUSE I AM A CASTLE THEME FAN. A real one not just those with a passing interest. As for the colors, I think those new greys can add more realism to the color of those castles. (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
| | | | | Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

| (...) Are you kidding me? Not much else they can do? HUH?!?! Try to have some imagination, there's still LOTS of possiblities with System Castle theme. Ever thought that perhaps they could make Desert Castles and base the theme on Arabian structures (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
| | | | | Re: 2004 Castle Products
| Cool. It'll give the castle folks an opportunity to start collecting castle poops in the new grey :) Adrian (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
| | | | | Re: 2004 Castle Products
| (...) OH, BOY! This leaves me just tingling with excitement! I can imagine it now, making up for all those years of missed classic sets... But I think I'll just keep my speculations to myself! Andrew (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
| | | | | Re: Pick-a-Brick Bins Question
| (...) The upper Pick-a-Brick bins are for show only, and don't contain loose brick. There is brick in the back of these drawers, but it can't be scooped out because it is behind a clear plastic wall. I've been told that there will be more variety of (...) | | | | | Re: Changes to Brickshelf?
| No it's definitely a change. I used to search for people always by name and now I can't. I can't even tell who's stuff I'm looking at in the recent folders. It's really tough to connect people to thier username too. The whole thing is sort of (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
| | | | | Re: Changes to Brickshelf?
| (...) All good and reasonable. But you didn't answer the (implied) question... Is this a change or are many of us misremembering? I *seem* to remember being able to put "pien" into the entry field displayed when you clicked on "search members" from (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
| | | | | Re: 2004 Castle Products
| (...) Hi Jake, Thanks for those three very critical bits of information! The fact that Harry Potter & Castle can coexist is interesting. (many thought there were parallels to how Star Wars disallows Space.) Much obliged, your clarity is appreciated, (...) | | | | | Re: official color reference?
| (...) Right, those references are great. I just thought it would be ideal to have an actual physical color reference, in ABS, like I'm sure the master builders have. It's something I would find awefully handy, but maybe others wouldn't. (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
| | | | | Re: Question about AC Nielsen surveys
| (...) I had success with the Space Shuttle Discovery set. It's possible that the sets that you have are not in their database of approved sets (probably the case with the new MINIs). It should be set #, BTW. After you enter the set #, it will show (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
| | | | | Re: Update on color issue

FWIW, I have updated the Brickshelf Poll with the question: "Do you like the replacement of classic colors?" (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

| Hi Andrzej, (...) Since I own the latest german dealer's catalog, I can tell you that for certain: Pirates are Jack-Stone-scaled in 2004. Sets are with many large elements, but also with a few very nice parts (new pirate flags, maps on 4x4-tiles, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.general)
