  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

(...) Well, I'm emerginf from a mini-Dark Ages, so the number is a bit skewed but I made it over 1% just in auctions, and I think with the stuff I've bought for my niece & nephews (and me) new, the total probably is close to 2%. Regards, BOB!! (URL) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Minifig trip to Carlsbad?

  New 1999 catalog images.

front page - on the front of the X-wing, there's a part that hinges up. Anyone think they know what that's for? page 2 - Vader,Luke, Leia, Han mini-figs in the Sw logo, at least, even if they don't turn up in sets. Personally I think We'll see (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Roof Bricks!! (Was Re: Clearer catalog images of new 1999 sets)

(...) EXCELLENT! Just looking at the cover it is plain to see we are getting at least 2 grey inside corner medium slope bricks! Not to mention some 2x2 and 2x4 grey slopes. As if that weren't enough, the snow speeder appears to have 2 grey OUTSIDE (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bug in pause..?

(...) No problem. Bugs happen. I am just naturally a very, _very_ curious person, and when that happened, well, I got very curious as to what was causing it. And I figured I'd let you know in case you didn't know yet. You could, of course, just (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bug in pause..?

(...) Any word that ends in 'er' is currently gacking it -- so if you search for "Galaxy Explorer" or "Pooper Scooper" it'll gack too. It's a bug in some low-level DB stuff that's going away soon. (I suspect a buffer is overflowing somewhere because (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Technic Half-beam

Hi: (...) The purpose of putting all of the images into a large graphic had two reasons First, to have the element labels directly associated with the element and have similar elements grouped for easy comparison. I liked the idea of having no call (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Technic 1999

I live pretty close to the Lego Imagination Center at WDW so I went down this morning to pick up a set and get the new catalog. The scans currently posted to LUGNET are a little blurry so here are my descriptions: Tech Play: 8252 - Blue and white (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Top Ten Bumper Stickers I'd Like to See

Re: 3 more 1999 catalog pix...

I don't know about anybody else, but I really like the cherry picker truck and the fact that us Town fans will have some road signs. The cherry picker doesn't look like Town Jr. at all, and I kind of like the new fire engine. As a Train fan, I'm (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
