  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

A bit off the initial subject, but... Gang, I've said it before, but I'm almost certain LEGO conducts its own focus groups (including play sessions) with children and their parents. I still think Town Jr. and other simplified designs are the result (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Contest Ideas?

I've been throwing around the idea of having a space theme building contest. I was thinking of making a model the prize. Mostly, I would like to just see everyones best space creations and stuff. If I did this, would a model be a sufficient prize (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

(...) I don't know. I either didn't ask, or my memory is failing. It was about 10 years ago. Has it been that long already? Uh-Oh, I better be careful. I might fall and break a hip or something. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

(...) Did they give you any idea of what does go into the model design process. That is to say, do a bunch of execs sit around and build, do they bring kids in, do they have little play sessions for testing? They used to have that quality, but in (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

Richard Franks writes: <SNIP> (...) I can't help but think that this group (LUGNET) would be an invaluable source of information for TLG. Most companies spend big bucks on market research to find out what their consumers like. I'm sure TLG must do (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

From Tom McDonald Anti-spam block in place. (URL) what (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

(...) I've heard this before (about us only being a small segment of the market). But the only things that seperate us from the rest of the Lego fans around the world is that we have access to the internet, and we have luckily found groovy resources (...)   Re: S@H

(...) It appears from Rene's email address that he is connected to the USAF somehow. So if he can ship to an APO/FPO address, he should not have any problem ordering from overseas. Best of all, it won't cost anything extra. :-) -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Should RTL be hosted on this server?

(...) I'm using Free Agent 1.11/32. The instructions for doing it _are_ in the docs, though it is pretty vague and hard to find. The instruction in my version are under Help | How To section. Then at the bottom is the "FAQ's" selection. In that you (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
