Hi Guys,
I too was having a browse of the registry the other day and felt much the same
way. To me, I think the problem lies in having them all on the one page. If
Starship keeps growing the way it has been, that page will take forever to load
in the near future.
My suggestion? Have a seperate web page for each player, which lists all of
their ships with pics and everything. Then, on the main page have two lists -
one of all of the ships in alphabetical order and another with players in
alphabetical order (and the names of their ships with links under). For example:
Ships in alphabetical order:
Enterprise
Jupiter 2
Millennium Falcon
Players in alphabetical order:
Bob:
Enterprise
Milennium Falcon
Jim:
Jupiter 2
I think that this kind of structure would be a lot better, especially as we get
more players. And it would be much easier to navigate (as compared to waiting
for all of the ship pictures to load at once).
So there's my 2 bob bit.
Zac
