  Re: Rules?

(...) Sup (...) Well, seeing as i wrote the rules, I figure I might give a hand here. The rules on the site are the best put way of describing the boring part. I guess I forgot to put in all that blowing stuff up part, but I thought that be obvious. (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

Re: Zac's gonna join and has some ideas!

(...) Indeed. Your Sector 62 was quite the inspiration! (...) On the old message board, we had spent all last autumn discussing issue like this. Currency was one of the first items we put to a vote (as was the name of the game). There were several (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Re: Rules?

(...) I think Dan did a fine job of answering this. Basically, each Sector Mediator runs their own Sector/Adventure however they wish (provided they do not violate the rather basic Galatic Rules ((URL) Most SMs run their sectors much like Dan, using (...)   Re: Rules?

Welcome to Starship! I hope you join... Anyway, to answer your question: When a player (a person who creates a ship to adventure in someone's sector) wishes to enter a sector, the Sector Mediator states the rules of that particular sector. Thanks for yor help fellow fleet commanders! (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

Re: The legendary Terran homeworld (Re: Prototype Starship Bible Work-in-Progress)

Well, I purposely started in 2050 that way maybe we dodged a couple of disagreements. And my Terran history pertains only to North America until Earth explodes. I did that also so that other people who started on Earth could make up storylines for (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

The legendary Terran homeworld (Re: Prototype Starship Bible Work-in-Progress)

(...) Very tricky, so that at the end of our historical record, in the dimly lit and dusty farthest reaches of our history, we may well disagree on where Earth actually is or what happened on it. Indeed, I bet some folks would happily wage war over (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Re: Prototype Starship Bible Work-in-Progress

Mmm, I think starting from the very beggining is a bit risky since some people's version of what happened might differ from other's. For example, many people's organisations would of evolved from an official Earth goverment in stress, and there (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

Re: Idea for Saving Space on Starship Site

(...) Actually, I think both issues are potential problems. I will look into the BS account option AND I will probably cut the registry into two or three pages. -GMH (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)
