Yes, that's the thing about Mike ... more detail than one could ever hope for.
It's an agonizing cycle for those of us who yearn for every update to Brikwars.
We hope- nay, *demand* that Mike fill in every detail, and make sure to point
out any inconsistincies we stumble upon during gameplay. Then we croon over
the slow rate of output ... all the while demanding more detail ... which takes
more time ...
Actually, I'm most angered by the fact that Mike is still doing things outside
of Brikwars. I'd gladly donate $20/year for him to work full time on Brikwars.
I'm guessing we could probably gather enough patronage to entice him to accept
a full-time game development role. I figure NELUG member alone might offer him
up to $45/year, all told (and including my contribution). And I'm guessing we
could at least double that if we opened up the patronage to the rest of the
globe ...
How about it Mike? How much more than $200 per year could one person actually
need, anyway?

Although it wasn't exactly asked in the vein of soliciting public input, that's
how I'll take it. There are two very different camps to this question: one
says that no, no you don't need anything more than the first two paragraphs,
actually - the ones that say "feel free to amend or bend these rules as you see
fit" ;) The other camp considers all Brikwars ruls to be absolutely essential.
The latter group has "Anorak" tattood across their foreheads. Most people fall
somewhere in between.
Don't even ask me where I stand ... the answer's not pretty ;)

The next-to-last thing we need is Brikwars groupies shamelessly plugging
someone else's URLs around here.

I'm afraid I have "Parka" tattooed across my forehead...I love to just read the rules, but somehow I can't merge into the Anoraky subculture. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.gaming)
