  Re: Anyone playing BrikWars????

(...) Haven't EVEN STARTED!!! AGGGGGGG!!!! Buy me a ticket up there and we'll play it. Get it together guys! please :) Meantime, I'm ready to play using the good ole' standby rools. Anyone coming to DC soon? Aaron Sneary Secondary Systems (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Anyone playing BrikWars????

Hey Aaron, Well, I got a game coming up in about 2 weeks. No bizarre techs, but we're shooting for a large game. Something like a 2500 CP limit. One thing we're trying is to break things down to category limits like this: 2500 CP Air vehicles - 1000 (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Anyone playing BrikWars????

(...) Finish? We haven't started! (Actually, we know that certain individual(s) in our group possess newer rulesets, but they haven't been played to my knowledge-- except perhaps in secret!) DaveE (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming)

  Anyone playing BrikWars????

I really would like to see or read about some newer BrikWars games. If people are playing, let's hear about it! Also, Mike, can you PLEASE either get NELUG to finish playtesting, let other groups playtest as well, or release the newest version (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Another BrikWars Mech

Cool! You managed to use two rather difficult pieces together to make a really cool looking torso. The canopy with the "18" is perfect. The mech's got birthing hips but it balaces out nicely with the upper body. Making kind of a figure eight shape. (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Another BrikWars Mech

Okay here's number two. It's a medium-sized rocket Mech for an upcoming BrikWars game. It has two banks of 4 MkII missiles and two sets of 2 MkII lasers. With extra armor (if I've done the math right) bears it out at 180CP (sans the pilot). Anyway, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.build.mecha)

The Pirate Game at BricksWest 02

Well everyone, if you're reading this, hopefully you're coming to BricksWest... If so, I have a couple of questions that I'm looking for rough answers on. Followups are to lugnet.events.brickswest. Are you planning on playing Evil Stevie's game at (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.events.brickswest)

Re: Is BricksWest going to be online during the convention?

(...) This reminds me. I was going to put out a call for questions for the gaming roundtable as I'd like to have some prepared questions to launch the discussion.   Re: My First Mech

Thanks Mark. Well, we haven't had our game yet (it's not until the middle of next month - I'm notoriously lax in having my forces ready in time, so I'm starting early). When we do, there should be a fair amount of pics. I thought about using hinges (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: My First Mech

I thought this was a fine first mech. The next few things you might want to work on is softening up the edges a little bit, and make the legs a little more mobile. Legs that are perpetually stuck facing straight forwards give a mech a strange look I (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: My First Mech

Thanks Chris. Oh it's psychological warfare alright. We anticipate that, while the enemy is laughing their heads off, our regular forces will sweep in and decimate their defenses. Victory is to the bunny. *** I'm still working on construction. This (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

BRING IT ON! The Red-Rabbit mech can run sooooo fast, the Nesquick Bunny will only see a blurring red streak... as it runs pell-mell in retreat.   Re: My First Mech

Wayne, cool little fella for a mass-produced Brikwars army. But I think there's a few too many colors in there for my tastes. Plus, I'm not a big fan of those dome plate thingies for feet. But I do like the form of the legs, and the ears give it (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: My First Mech

Nice Job, Wayne! It's got all the basic requirements of a 'mech'-thin legs, big feet, joints and guns. As basic as it is, that seems to be a great starting point for something larger in the future. As much as I like the ears, I'm not sure they fit (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: My First Mech

I think it's pretty cool, infact I would encourage you to make more. I like the main cabin or upper part of the Mech. Hey make sure your Mech wins in the game! Uphold the honor of the Mech group!   My First Mech

I know it's not anything spectacular, but it's my first attempt at making anything mech. I built it for an upcoming BrikWar game as a fast recon mech. I think I'm justifying the "ears" as heat foils to help bleed off the access energy it generates (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.gaming)

The Invasion of P.E.T.S. or The Abduction of Dr. Oddfancy

Re: QUICK, my scientist need exotic weapons

That's groovy Aaron. Of all the things I sugg'd, I thought the Time Gun was the best; Glad to see it got some use. Most of the games I've played are pretty straight forward TL 5 stuff. Not too much in the wacky department (although I'm pushing). Do (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: QUICK, my scientist need exotic weapons

Thank you all for posting fun ideas. We did use a few of them. The time gun was a lot of fun, although it was my own troop that ended up returning into a wall. The sonic stun would have worked but Devin argued that all space troops have closed (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: QUICK, my scientist need exotic weapons

This could be interesting; How about a TORSO REVERSER Target takes his torso and reverses it on the legs and head. Makes it very hard to use your arms or anything in them as they are now facing rearward. or The DUMB AS BRICKS GUN Target takes head (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.gaming)
