  Re: Santa's Building Creation Station

Cool! The Dumbledore head is the best Santa head I've seen so far. -The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith @8^) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: Santa's Building Creation Station

Neat concept! Definitely captures the spirit and feel of the D56 release. The snow works, though it looks kinda out of place in the middle of the field of green. But then, it's that Christmas magic! :^) Cool stuff. -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: Santa's Building Creation Station

(...) Just pictures. I spend my money on real Lego! (...) Pretty well. Larry's mountain ((URL) was the real show-stealer but people seemed to like this pretty well too. The dynamics of the show didn't really allow for hovering around and getting (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: Santa's Building Creation Station

(...) Nice work Peter. Seems very close to the orginial. Do you own the orginial or just base it off pictures? How did the crowd like it? The snow on the front is indeed nicely done. I wonder if the slopes on the side couldn't be raised one plate to (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Santa's Building Creation Station

You may remember that a few Christmases back, Department 56 issued several Lego-licensed collectibles, including the Building Creation Station: (URL) MichLTC's train show today in Livonia, MI, I thought I'd translate it into real Lego: General views (...)   Re: Pictures of My Halloween Display at Zany Brainy

(...) Sounds good. I like the look that can bring. They had something like that set up at Legoland for BOT. You can see a pic of it here: (URL) are more pics in my Brick Or Treat summary if you are interested. I think Halloween is one of the best (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Re: Pictures of My Halloween Display at Zany Brainy

(...) Rev., thanks for the compliments. I was pretty happy with my graveyard considering that it was thrown together fairly quickly. I've already scrapped this version and plan to do something bigger/better next year. I wanted to get a few (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Re: Pictures of My Halloween Display at Zany Brainy

(...) I have a similar relationship with a local Toys'R'Us. I've appeared there a half dozen times or so over the last couple of years. I ended up getting the gig because I was buying a pile of the 3033 bulk tubs for my sculptures and one of the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Re: Pictures of My Halloween Display at Zany Brainy

Greg, that minifig graveyard is really great. Love the tombstone conrstuction, and those bare trees (with roots even!) are beautiful. I'm curious where you acquired all those stone wall bricks for the outer wall of the graveyard. I have a few from (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday)
