Today begins the final seven days to register for BricksWest 2003! If you have been sitting on the fence regarding your attendance, it's time to come on over. I've got most of the stuff I will need for the train history session, but there's a few items I'd like to borrow if possible. I will be focusing mostly on the evolution of the parts and such rather than sets, though I will have some representative (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.trains)

(...) Maybe I got something wrong from the Model Shop tour, but the mutilated brick that was pointed out to us didn't look like a repair. The Model Shop builders told us that it came that way from the UK. Now I guess it's possible it was a (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest)

<snippage because my post will be small> Speaking as one of those model builders who trained the fellow who eventually was one of the first builders in CA... I can say that you were *never* allowed to mulitate a brick to make it work. Only on (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest)
