Heh

For all of you coming to brickfest, please pop over to the brickfest website and register your MOCs. Make sure if you have any special needs (i.e. proximity to outlets, etc.) you fill that in. Please make it a point to bring sig-figs as well. I’m hoping for a space group picture with a corresponding sig-fig group pic.

Additionally, Joe and I are were thinking in honor of the Sea Monkeys, we’d have a seafood dinner some night. Anyone else up for this?
Sounds good to me. Maybe we can order some Maryland-esque crabs?

I’m not a huge fan of seafood, but if it’s a surf ‘n’ turf place and I can get myself a big ol’ hunk of cow, I’ll be satisfied.

Hey Brickfest Spacers,

--snipped worries about airlocks and the lack thereof--

There’s a much easier solution to this. Force Fields! I used it on the top floor of my Tycho Brahe Hotel, as can be seen here. This idea was stolen, er, borrowed from Jamie Neufeld. I think it’s a much more elegant solution, without requiring much other than a few tiles and dots to represent the force field emitters. They’re tuned to allow objects to pass through, yet keep the air in. Don’t ask me how it works, it’s SCI-FI! The shuttle bays in Star Trek use this technology too.
