  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) How about Minneapolis? There are A LOT of LEGO® Fans here AND there is of course the Mall of America LEGO® Store as well as some other cost effective methods of staying, etc... :) Sincerely, Brian (18 years ago, 3-Oct-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Anyone received their Brickfest Event Kit yet?

(...) Both Joe Meno and ME Models contacted me after I posted this. The Event Kit models were delayed due to them having to get additional parts from Bricklink; however, they are getting ready to produce their backlog of orders and will start (...)   Re: Anyone received their Brickfest Event Kit yet?

(...) Somehow I missed purchasing it... As well as the 2005/2006 BF CD. Is it too late for both?? Janey "Red Brick" (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Anyone received their Brickfest Event Kit yet?

I'm still waiting on mine. Just wondering if anyone had gotten their White House model yet. I assume it's being sent from ME-Models? -- Thomas Main thomasmain@charter.net (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: The Canadian Space Force - Canuck

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) Of course if BrickFest reverted to the weekend before GenCon, Indy would work out real nice for me... I'd just have to find some local willing to put me up (and put up with me) for a few days between... Frank (18 years ago, 18-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

Hello all, As a DC area fan, I'm partial to keeping there event here; and in terms of general improvement every year and a steady attendence on public day it seems to me to make sense to keep it in the same town every year. That said, if BrickFest (...) (18 years ago, 17-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) I like the Minneapolis option. Prices are cheap here in the Midwest and there are plenty of direct flights for those that don't want to sit (BTW, if you're a COA or DAL Freq Flier, you earn miles on NWA), not to mention, NWA serves MSP from (...)   Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) And that is very true. Many fans drive, they wish to bring creations, and airline travel limits that to a large extend. So, there is ONE city in the USA (guess which one) that can be reached by 2/3 of the entire US population within a 12 hour (...) (18 years ago, 17-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

I'd love to see Brickfest move to a central location, but be careful before you decide to become a traveling show. Conventions like Origins in the gaming world have historically performed unpredictably from year to year depending on the venue, while (...) (18 years ago, 16-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) I really do not think so--BrickFest DC may always be the "granddaddy" but there is plenty of room for others. NW BrickCon has grown every year (and the more it grows, the better for me-if they still continue to get their badges from me). They (...) (18 years ago, 15-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
