Two 4-hour windows of public display is pretty minor, all things considered.
A much bigger "turn-off" for me is the (seemingly) rigid shutdown time - but
I freely admit that's a personal bias stemming from experience with gaming
and SF cons.  So no, not "just because", but it's a factor.

Our intent is to stick around until the center folks throw us out, I
wouldn't worry about it.  Probably won't leave until well after the "shut
down" time.

Also, the plan is to get a schedule going so that folks will have very
defined "shifts" so that no one gets stuck manning tables all day(s).

Much bigger
factors(1), are major projects at work, two small children, a wife that
works weekends, a major NALUG dispay the weekend previous, and other
assorted stuff that has nothing to do with the appeal of the event itself.

Yeah, I can relate to that.  Just found out, my wife is pregnant and is due
somewhere bouts Feb-Apr.  (really don't know yet)  As such, that puts my
plans on going to BricksWest on hold.
