  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) In the past, having watched Christina and Kevin Loch, and all the many others dedicated to planning events, it seemed clear to me that the huge, megaconventions like BF, take much more than 6 months to plan. I think she is stating that no one (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickWorld costs

(...) Sorry, I was making a rough estimation on AFOL cons in general. I'm glad that you guys are thinking along those lines, and willing to allay those concerns. (...)   Re: Brickworld Info (was BrickFest 2007)

I for one am looking forward to Brick World. I am opening the toy museum featurning LEGO in 2007. I am going to use that venue as a opening blow out. I was hoping for Brick Fest, but I cannot see anyone coming from the west coast to see my little (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Brickworld Info (was BrickFest 2007)

(...) I didn't mean to take it out of context. I was simply pointing it out as my point of concern. And it did come first in the sentence, which could be read as suggesting importance. And I appreciate you reiterating to me and the crowd the (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

(...) Hmm. This is something that I guess I'm confused on. What's the difference between a regional, national, and international event?   Re: BrickFest 2007

Ahhhhhh, but on the other hand, there are only two seasons in Chicago: 1. Winter 2. Construction So I wouldn't count on there not being problems with the weather. ;) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld)

  Re: BrickFest 2007

John, I have to respectfully disagree with you on one point... holding the Brickworld fest in winter.
