Re: The proliferation of fests: Good or bad?

(...) Having lived in SoCal, and asked the same question many times of many people, I think a lot of it is that there are still some hard feelings after the BricksWest incident. Also, many people have expressed the hard question of whether or not to (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, FTX)

Re: BrickWorld 07 Train Layout call for participation

(...) Great to have you aboard. As soon as I gather more responses, we'll begin the next step. Hopefully we can begin planning no later than late January. -Jeramy (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: The proliferation of fests: Good or bad?

(...) Well, he should have. If you look at a map of North America Omaha may be closer to the actual centre of the continent but it does not have Chicago's status as possibly the largest air and rail hub in the central part of North America.   Re: The proliferation of fests: Good or bad?

(...) Mark- I think the LEGO gods have shone the light upon us for NMRA 2008 (July 13-20, 2008 at the Anaheim Marriott, 700 West Convention Way, Anaheim CA 92802). This event is walking distance to the LEGO store in Downtown Disney (and Angel (...) (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, FTX)

Re: The proliferation of fests: Good or bad?

Some thoughts of mine: A proliferation of successfull events is good. A big thought on "the one big event": My experience with events encompasses LEGO fan events, Science Fiction conventions, church camps and events, train shows, National (...) (18 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.events)
