  Re: A Discovery Mars question

(...) I don't really know one way or the other as I never bothered to ask. I had about four hours of photography ahead of me, and I was just trying to get as much variety of info during my 45-minute tour as I could (mostly about Bionicle and Star (...)   Dear Lego, bring back model team.

I was in TRU the other day and I saw all the Mega Bloks pro builder sets like the harley and the space shuttle and the tank and the submarine and stuff and I thought to myself, LEGO should make sets like that... (not necessarily military) If lego (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: A Discovery Mars question

(...) When these were shown at BW, it struck me that the impression given by Jake and Brad was that the foamboard was preproduction rather than production. But it could have been a deliberate misimpression or I could be misremembering... (I tried to (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: A Discovery Mars question

(...) The large Mars Rover should be convertable to RCX, as it's about 20ish inches across. I didn't ever hear anything about RCX conversions, but it would seem a bit shortsighted if they hadn't planned for that eventuality. As for the one that (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: A Discovery Mars question

(...) I can't remember what they were for stuff like the ISS and the satellite from the Discovery, but the Mars Rover panels appeared to be some sort of lightweight foam-board (about 3/16" thick I believe) with the solar panel design painted on. I (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Are the solar panels stenciled or stickers? (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Updated lego.com: Fresh'n'Clean

(...) Dear LEGO, Although I liked the homepage described previously, I'm not thrilled with the new: "kid getting shot in the head" version. :-\ -Suz (21 years ago, 9-Jun-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: dear lego.....

(...) Yes, it would be very nice indeed. But I'll end up seeing the boxes anyway no matter what since they'll be mine as soon as Lego is selling them :) I also very much liked having an inventory on the side of the boxes of the 3 new technic sets.   Re: 10028 Level Crossing Sneak Peek! (lower price, perhaps?)

(...) I'm not normally one for 'me too' posts, though I'll make an exception in this case. I definately think this would be a great $30 set but would only be fair as a $50 set. (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: 10028 Level Crossing Sneak Peek! (lower price, perhaps?)

(...) Awww....crap. LEGO, if you are listening, please lower the price! I'm not quite so enthusiastic about this set anymore... :-( Admiral Wells T-SEC / THDC Division (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  Re: You're doin good, folks.

(...) Ah, I think I see what's going on now. I'd never actually looked at the table of contents in my 2003 Product book, but all four groups (Creator, Designer, Advanced Designer, & Inventor) are all included under the Make & Creat uber-theme.   Re: You're doin good, folks.
