(...) 8-wide containers are even more impressive[1]! :) However, then you have to come out with new roadplates that can handle large trucks... (...) <snip excellent suggestions> Yes, please do. And your yellow <set:2148> and red/black <set:3443> tractors are a good starting point, too! (check the ratings, we LOVE those sets, all 80's 90's and 100's) Just redesign the frame to allow a (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) how the quality of the Lego brick is way down. Anyone that has old Lego can put it sid by side with the new ones and can see that there are huge differences in the quality. Here are a few: 1. The old Lego were much brighter and had a better (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Trucks for our minifig cities

Dear Lego, Please look at producing a series of minifig scale semi-tractor/trailer trucks (in the USA these are commonly referred to as 18-wheelers). Make them is various color shades. The colors could represent (or be promotional to) the various (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  shop.lego.com woes

Ok, what is up with the S@H site? I can't get past the gateway.asp page at all anymore on any of my browsers sans Netscape 6 and many of us know what a burden on our system that beast is. (...) I believe it's true for Magic. I would not be too surprised if it wasn't true for Pokemon, though. But I suspect it's against the law in at least the US, as it would be false advertising to claim something is available if it is not ever (...) (...) Oh, whoa, hang on a sec. I'm not disputing your claim that all the wheels weren't produced- I wouldn't know, I didn't try to collect them. It's entirely possible. On the other hand, when someone complains that they got many of the more common (...)   Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) Eric, I also love collecting all these things. I enjoyed when I saw LEGO coming out with disks, then wheels and now masks. I spent a *lot* of money on the disks, then I had them complete one day. A little later, even more special disks came (...)   Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) I used to collect Magic cards (and play the game). I can assure you that you *can* collect a full set of these cards. It just requires patience, and a lot of money and/or hard trading. There's nothing uneducated about it. If you enjoy it, you (...) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic.bionicle)
