Dear Lego,
Please look at producing a series of minifig scale semi-tractor/trailer trucks
(in the USA these are commonly referred to as 18-wheelers). Make them is various
color shades. The colors could represent (or be promotional to) the various
major US frieght lines. One example would be Schneider (sp?) which has all their
trucks painted orange or UPS with brown tractors. I believe that one line (name
escapes me) even uses pale-blue.
I believe that these could be marketed both to the truck lines (as promotional
items, ala Velux) as well as thru many of the larger truck stops (which these
days cater to passenger drivers as well as truckers). These truck stops are High
Traffic Outlets of a different type.
With each truck you might provide several sticker sets, for different truck
line insignias.
Other varients on this theme would be trucks which haul fluids (milk, gasoline,
etc), and flat bed trucks.
Ray ( who just returned from a 400 mile day of driving, and of watching large
trucks fly by :-)
