Re: TLCs stance on stop-motion films?

(...) I think as long as the Lego logo wasn't prominent (perhaps even not apparent), you'd be far within your rights. I mean, most things you see used in movies are made by _someone_, even those not there because of licensing deals. Now, if your (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

It's basically a Lego version of 'Apocalypse Now' - well made and good fun, particularly the beginning with the hospital (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  TLCs stance on stop-motion films?

Does anyone know thier stance? If someone made a movie using Lego elements instead of clay or something but didn't actually point out the fact that it was Lego, (they treated the film completly serious and never pointed out the fact that it was made (...) Better yet, sell the minifigs individually (with appropriate accessories) for USD2.00 online. Do this for *all* minifigs sold in current sets. Steve (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Dear Lego: Stop the madness and make a castle accessory pack with the new castle people: the new brown moustache soldier with helmet, the queen mini with her black hat, the new warrior princess, and maybe some extra stuff like the new ballista (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Lego Spares

This has most probably been asked many times but I've never seen it (probably never looked hard enough) posted anywhere. Would it not be advantageous to both Lego and consumers to offer bulk ordering? I mean Lego would certainly reap the rewards, it (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Is this as evil as I think it is?

Full (but line-split URL) (URL) Shorter (still works, almost, URL) (URL) Not only have they 'borrowed' the image from the LEGO website, but they've maimed the LEGO logo! Question is - where should reports like this be made? To the original web-site, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Every set had been torn in at least one or two places, mostly at the lid corners, as if someone was trying to get the box open. Some tears were 6-8 inches long. I only (...)   Poor packaging by TLC (was: Has any one else noticed...)

The issue of poor packaging for retail Lego sets has bothered me for some time. I remember the days gone by ('cause I still have all the boxes) when TLC packaged the larger sets in styrofoam-lined boxes with plasic insert trays. These were the good (...)   It is a commercial nonsense to have closed legoworldshop.com

Hello Dear Lego, I think it is really a commercial/marketing nonsense to have closed the (URL) web site. First, for non-US customers, it is actually impossible to get more sensors for ours RCX. Second, you've closed the site for around 6 month time (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

More LEGO Direct Questions: The 2001 Anniversary

Hello Brad (& Co.), I have a question for the future. 2001 will be an anniversary of sorts.... 40 years of LEGO in the USA. I remember the Silver Anniversary bucket from 1998 was to celebrate 25 years of LEGO, but that dates only back to 1973, when (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Idea for if Lego ever revives Imperials

(...) WOTC/Magic is different. The cards are promoted as "collectible" and "limited edition". The collectibility is actually the primary marketting thing behind the game. (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
