It's my understanding that Bricklink has been hoping for part number
synchronization for a while - there has been a good deal of discussion of it
recently and they seem to have given up on the possibility. Including
Bricklink in the discussion would be a Good Thing IMO (I'll post a link to
this message on the BL forums and let anyone interested run with it...)
