Re: Plans to include LCAD or TLG part numbers on inventroy entries?

(...) The plan is slowly coming together. The inventories at Peeron ((URL) have most of the parts linked to Partsref (if the part is LDrawn) or sometimes a photo taken by Dan and Jen, as well as a list of the sets in the Peeron database containing (...)   Re: How rare is...

(...) Aha, the penny drops. I have two of those (grey) from one of the old gear sets as well, pretty much all that remains from these sets. I enjoyed them at the time too, but when the Technic stuff came out, well, that was that... Jennifer Clark (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Aha! That's perfect! Thanks. And I did have an extra turntable in my pile o' bricks too. I guess I know where it goes now. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: How rare is...

(...) Yeah, there are a couple of those in this set. The grey brick was used to hold the axles for those red spoked wheels and the really neat tracks. I just recently purchased a copy of set 404, which is pretty much identical to 912. Why are there (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: How rare is...

(...) I was(am) lucky enough to actually have it :) Hate to rub it in, but it was indeed a great set and I spent hours with it as a child. In many ways it was a pre-technic set (I think there was no Technic theme back in 1976) with axles, motor, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

(...) I still remember looking longingly at the catalogue at this set. I still am, boy do I want a 912 now. junior (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: Looking for scans of set 780, Road Construction Set

Maybe you can utilize instructions from set 387 (same set with different number). It's instructions are online at Brickshelf. Look at: (URL) IIRC, this set has an additional 4x4 black turntable (old circular type) which is not used in featured (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.scans)

Looking for scans of set 780, Road Construction Set

I received what I believe to be a copy of this set in a lot purchased from a friend, however I can't verify that I have something approaching all the pieces, as there's no scan of the instructions for this set online. Since only 3 people have this (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: How rare is...

(...) White is becoming less rare. Back in the days when Technic was The Only Theme That Matters (TM) all cross axles were black and all technic elements were gray. Now anything goes. But the current design is available in: Black -- 2, 2 w/notches, (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: How rare is...

They were used as masts in 314 and 315, two of the old ships-series. They were also used in the old Model-team: the Harley and the Norton (393 & 394) feature a few as axles, footrests and antenna. The Rolls Royce (395) uses one for its steering (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: How rare is...

(...) Indeed. And I've also noticed these ones are suseptible to (permanent) bending. Several of my old axles have slight bends in them, making them less useful as axles. Still useful as linkages, though. Regards, ROSCO (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: How rare is...

(...) All of the responses so far have focused on true white axles (which are somewhat rare). There are also #5 axles with stop which are much more common. Then there are translucent "white" axles. These predated the classic black axles and last (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

How many parts is a lever with base?

Hi, In mosts sets, the small Lever <part:4593> and its base <part:298> come attaches to each other. How should I inventory a lever consisting of a white base and black handle? Two pieces?   Looking for scans of set 3723...
