  Re: Can anyone identify this?

(...) AFAIK it was used in <set:8235>, <set:8280> and <set:8222> (not sure but I thought in the colours yellow, red and grey). -- Frank Buiting Visit the LEGO Lexicon: (URL) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Can anyone identify this?

I'm looking in the 1997 LEGO spares mini-catalogue insert, and I'm looking at the Technic section of it. In that section, there is spares pack #5288 Gear Blocks, etc. In it there is something that could be described as a gear block for use with a (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Is ther no interest on old Scans?

I love your scans. I appreciate any kind of scanned lego media. I've been scanning instructions and catalogs for a while (I've uploaded all of them to brickshelf, too) so I know how much of work required, so thanks for the job done. I strongly (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: Standardized Inventory File Format?

(...) So will: sed "s/ +/,/g" <spaces.txt >comma.txt Which will run on any machine (even an 8088 laptop) that has a DOS- or *nix-style command line. And sed is small enough that most people who might balk at Perl wouldn't mind installing it, even as (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Is ther no interest on old Scans?

Arne: Go to brickshelf.com, and read the submission criteria and directions. Kevin is kind enough to supply the server space, so we should help him by FTP'ing them to him. Also, please note the resolution/size of the scans. You might want to rescan (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-00, to lugnet.db.scans)

Is ther no interest on old Scans?

Hi all Fans of old Lego, I have added a message a few days ago with a few scans of the 60s. Is there no interest? Because there was no reply. If there no one interest on, I can save my time. Here the same again: 1. the early Train 323 from the year (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-00, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: 6954

It depends - were the pieces of odd colors, or were they a minifig part or something? If they were small pieces like 1x1x.3 plates or round dots, a few could have easily slipped in as extra pieces. -- Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde -- (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) Eiermann for (...) inbox (...) never (...) how (...) FOR (...) Kevin should make his upload directory publicly accessible. It's been a month since he last updated the scans, and that's too long. (25 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: Scans on CD?

(...) catalogues... Just as a note, I don't think Kevin as a general rule goes elsewhere to "gather" scans. I get the impression he gets so many in his designated inbox that if he had to go hunting around for where the other ones are, he'd never get (...) (25 years ago, 17-May-00, to lugnet.db.scans)
