It's very good, I just have one gripe...

...no mention of CW.

I know it's not sponsered by LUGNET, but the fact is it was born and raised
here, and still exists mostly within LUGNET's walls.
And the fact that you mention the train orgs, but not the castle org,
doesn't make it any better IMHO. Sure, there's more audience for trains,
but castle is gaining momentum and I think it's only fair to put
*something* in about it.

Yes, I must second this.  One of the best things about Lugnet is, IMO, CW.
Now, yes, I'm bias, being a member, but I think it's only fair that
something is mentioned on Castle World's behalf...

Well, the phrase "or Train Club" was actually added as a second thought.
It first simply had said, "Find or start a LEGO Users Group in your area,"
but after learning that LEGO is promoting the idea of "LEGO Train Club" on
their Kidvention newsletter and itinerary, it seemed wise to add a mention
of train clubs as well.  Space is tight and each word makes more for someone
to read.  The main point of that line is really about aggregation of
individuals in a local town or state, rather than a particular type of group
or club online or offline.  A much more glaring omission than CW, actually,
is that it doesn't even mention the CAD stuff -- because it's pretty much
covered under the last bullet item already and by the fact that the LDraw
folks will be right there.

In lugnet.events, Todd Lehman gives a lot of reasons... <snip> Well <sigh>, I suppose that's understandable. :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.events, lugnet.castle.org.cw)
