  CW Story of the Week

I finally have some rough drafts of the "awards" (is that what we're calling them?) up on brickshelf. I put the logo on several different backgrounds to see what it looked like. They could also just have a transparent background, if that would look (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) Those are great, Wilson! My favorite would have to be the flames, tho. Great contrasting and complimentary colors! What do you think, Shiri? -Chris (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) I'd rather not call them awards... that makes it sound like we're being competitive, or something. I think we can just call it the logo for CWSOTW. (...) I agree, they look great. The one with the sunset is a bit weak, the brown pole fades in (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) Right, sounds good. "Awards" sounds kinda weird anyways. Personally, I don't think we'll need to vote on the stories, I think you could just put them up in the order they arrive, then the owner of the story can put the logo on his/her page. (...)   Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) I agree. No reason to be competitive, we just want a good story. ;-) For now, I'll be putting the older stories first... like Wilson said, by order of appearance. (That'll also save the trouble of going through the voting system... phew :-) ). (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

(...) Ya, linking sounds like a good idea. Well, I've been on a picture safari and have come back wiht some pretty neat backgrounds, I should have most of them up by tomorrow morning. Wilson (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

<snip> (...) Here they are: (URL) a look at cwlightmtns2.jpg to see the size I was thinking of, 100 pixels wide, and they're all about the same height. If I would've changed the height, it would have warped the pictures a little. Overall, I'm pretty (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

(...) order (...) story, (...) Hang on, dont' go forming any plans just yet, I gotta object. What's wrong with a little competition? It only makes us strive to make better stories! You could also offer feedback, so the author (balladeer) can know (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Story of the Week

Then other people can vote for the stories, or email the balladeer w/comments... so it's still all in good fun, and people are bound to win (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
