I think Chris and Wilson pretty much answered your questions... just to
reiterate.
(I wish more people would be involved in this discussion... hey guys, we • want
your opinion!)

In lugnet.castle.org.cw, Dylan Bradley writes:
Yes, that sounds reasonable. Upon entry of "Castle World", each builder's
("AFOL") story line - via WebPage, lug-post, etc. - is automatically
proffered as entry for "CW Story of the Week".

Well, I think I'll only proffer stories that are sent to the CW email... • Sure,
I read .org.cw, but I can't be expected to keep up with people or "assume"
that they want to submit their story to CW.
For right now, I'll "nominate" the five stories that were written by CW
members so far, only to get things started. But from next week, I'll enter
them only if they are submitted per se to CW.

Thereupon any and/or all
"CW" entries will be considered.

Yes, thus giving a fair chance to everyone.

Persactly. No left-outies.

After all, how many CW members are there now, and how many do you see
joining in the next. 8 weeks? I think everyone will win at one point or
another unless the membership jumps to something like 4 people a week..

Well, there are currently 31 members. That's a lot in weeks, but we don't • have
so many stories. Hopefully, (eventually) every member will submit more • than
one story, but that's not the case for now. I think it's fair to assume • that
anyone who submits a story will win one time or another.

Ok... Me, myself, and I (and others like me, maybe) might only submit...
well, one story per century at the rate I'm going <G>

But yes, I see where you're coming from. My original "estimate" was WAAAY
off <g>

I dunno, I like the idea of the award.

Like Wilson said - just like CLSotW, when you put the logo up with a note
saying you won Castle World Story of the Week, that's sort of an "award", • or
an honor, or whatever you want to call it.

Like Todd's LSOTW, yes?

Can't wait to see!

(...) Well, I felt like this too, but I told myself to just sit down and write one day, and in a matter of, oh, say, 45 minutes, I had a fairly good chapter one for a story. (...) Zactly! (...) I hope so! -Chris (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
