I am going to observe that machines made from avocado and possibly other
fruits are resilient and able to continue functioning. That is, if they ever
functioned at all?

While simple tools might not be effected by the mist (inclined plane, wheel), the more complex a mechanism gets, the greater the effect the mist has. The mist is thick and sticks to (...)
