Hmm ... there is a period of adjustment that everyone goes through
once they enter the mist. While certain races adjust quicker than others,
none really adjust completely - the mist effects all sensory functions -
not just sound or sight. But a lot of it is up to you and your story guide.
A lot more on that later.
