 Castle / Ninja / *33 (-10)
  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) I looked at all these when I was at Legoland - I felt 3344 was dreadfully overpriced for a single figure. The set with the green ninja was okay, but still on the high side. Bruce (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) The Mini Heroes Collection, sets 3344, 3345, 3346, add a little more variation. I especially like 3344 with it's black armor and horned helmet. I think he makes a pretty cool Ronin leader or a Diamyo for your red army. Would have been nice if (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

one cool thing about Ninja sets in Japan

At least we got firing cannons! Cannons were not common in Japan during this period, but they did exist. Chris Barker chris@superfami.com (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  pirate + ninja

Has anyone considered that pirate minifigs work well as Portugese traders and missionaries within the Ninja world? I did a MoC based on this which I'll post pics of one day. Maybe I'll get around to doing some Nagasaki MoCs since it was one of the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) Yeah 7,800 yen to be exact. 14,800 yen for the FNF. And we do not have anything like Walmart where stuff can be bought at closeout prices. Even the used pricing in online auctions over here is outragous. (...) Maybe KK could be convinced to (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

was Re: Whoo hoo!!! now more on the theme

(...) Well, 1099, (some of the other small ones were released by Kabaya) and maybe 6082 + 6045. I'll have to check on this... (...) AFAICT the Ninja line did not sell well here. The euro castle stuff seems to sell OK though. They managed to (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) When I was in Japan last September, I noticed that there were a lot of Ninja sets on the shelves there. However, it wasn't clear to me if there were lots of Ninja sets because it was selling so well in Japan, or whether because they didn't (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) Know that feeling well...lol (and I never really had a dark age) (...) I remember buying the 6089 Stone Tower Bridge and 6093 FNF in the same week shortly after they were released. After I built both of them, I realized that I would need MANY (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: How do YOU build them?

(...) <blush> Thank You...twice I am of the same thought as KK, I will credit you WHEN your design shows up in my future creations =8^) (...) Ahh...yes my "warriors of the steppes" AKA the Michelin clan...lol I would be interested in seeing what you (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)
