Re: 600dpi scan of Female Knight, From 2000 Catalog

(...) Unfortunately...(you knew there hadda be a down side, didn't ya?) it looks like that's the only set she's in. C'mon sale! Anyone with the castle...is it a full building (like the Royal Knight's Castle) or just a facade (like the Ninja sets)? (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new castle babe!!! (and a weird knight--not a woman)

(...) <Snipped my stuff> (...) Ack! I should've realized that sounded angry and arrogant, I apologize. I didn't *mean* for it to sound that way, in fact I wasn't very angry at all. I just wanted to plainly state why I believed what I did. After I (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  More 2000 Castle

Well, I went back to the Salem NH TRU and voila! As the LEGO lady told me yesterday - more 2000 sets. They had a few Arctic sets which I promptly ignored in favor of looking at the other 2000 Castle sets. All were present except the 4806 Axe Cart. I (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Quick Assessments of 2000 Sets I picked up

And now for the assessments!! 6095 Guarded Treasury 101 pcs, $14.99 *Great Buy!* I think this set will make up the bulk of extra castle purchases this year. It has a lot of great pieces, and the only minifigs that come with it are grunts. My biggest (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.castle, lugnet.town)

  Royal Knight

Sorry I didn't post this to Buy/Sell/Trade, but no one seems to be responding to my post there. Does anyone have an extra of the classic smiley faced royal knight (the guy with plain black bullet helmet, white torso with royal knight symbol and blue (...)   Re: 600dpi scan of Female Knight, From 2000 Catalog

(...) Delicious! I like her a lot! That new castle set will be worth it partly because of her AND the princess. Two lego women in one set (besides any town or city things)! Bout damn time, Lego! Mike (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Royal Knight

  The War of yellowcastle Storyboard

I always wanted to create small storyboard like vignettes on my webpage. I recently re-acquired the 375 Castle set and so I thought I'd start out by making a story using it.   Re: JJ'S REVIEW: 6095 Royal Joust

(...) I checked that TRU last year, the day after Christmas they were stocking many 1999 sets. Before any other Target, Walmart, Kmart or toystore in town (now you know who took all the good stuff.) Be sure to hit the Target stores early on the 26th (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.reviews)

  New castle! Huge pieces abound!

Well, last night I managed to pick up 6091 (the castle), 6096 (bull's attack), 6094 (Guarded Treasury), 4086 (axe cart), and 6026 (King Leo). Actually, that was every 2000 set that the TRU in Framingham, MA had (they had only 1 more 6091 after I was (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New castle! Huge pieces abound!

(...) Nope. The newer pirate ships use this to attach the spars to the masts. I just bought a horde from MA12 so I can convert all my pirate ships to studs up spars (so figs can stand on them). Hm, now if I can find red 1x4 plate w/towball, I could (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

In lugnet.castle, David Eaton writes: ... although there was a piece I had never seen before-- we've (...) at (...) No. This piece most notably appeared in Pirate ships, among others. You can also find it in some Town sets. (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New castle! Huge pieces abound!

(...) <sigh> Oh well. At least it's castle. Demented and sad, but castle.(1) Well, get out that big "sucker!" stamp, and apply it straight to my forehead, because I'm going to go right out and buy them anyway. (as soon as I see them up here in (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 600dpi scan of Female Knight, From 2000 Catalog

(...) 40 bucks per woman, and enough free LEGO pieces to build a castle! :) Steve I don't actually remember the price of the 6091 castle, I'm guessing. (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: More 2000 Castle

(...) The freckles and silver-eyes makes for a "possessed Little Orphan Annie" effect. Really weird. (...) If they are going to have minifigs which only appear in the big set, they might as well do several of them! :( :) Steve (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 600dpi scan of Female Knight, From 2000 Catalog

(...) or (...) Wow!!! That's so exciting! And she's an actual horse-riding, armor-wearing, code-of-chivalry-swearing knight, too! Extremely cool news. Kevin (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)
