Are we? or are some of us builders? (was: Misnomer: we are all Lego collectors!)

(...) Absract. There are different words we apply to different approaches to LEGO(products). Builders and collectors. Builders might feel that collectors have an unproductive/unhelpful view of LEGO(products). Builders don't care about scalpers and (...)   Re: Misnomer: we are all Lego collectors!

I think LEGOs differ greatly from other items that people collect because it is a toy, a tool and an art medium. So, because LEGOs are different, I think the types of "collectors" are different. * There's the traditional LEGO collector who buys and (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) For Forestmen rereleases, I'd *love* it if the "tree" parts (most, but not all, the black pieces) were changed to brown. That would make my day. :) Jeff (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Future Castle Legends Survey

(...) Great idea - I'll make it one of my choices. 6085 - Black Monarch's Castle - great design - great minifigs. 725 - yeah not a castle set, but I can't build a single MOC without using elements that were available in 725. (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)
