Now go C R A Z Y !!!
Thanx for confirmin this for us Jimmy
you were right, this IS b i g .
> Well, I suppose technically, this is part of the July surprise
What do you mean by technically, are you aware of other specific sets that
are gonna be reintroduced. Possible the ~North American versions.~
(I say this because the set we saw may just be the European-only
selection , a different variety may be available for us over here!)
As to the reintroduction of older castle sets,
I believe that well never see a renaissance of:
The Yellow Castle http://guide.lugnet.com/set/375_2
or
The Knights procession http://guide.lugnet.com/set/677
Two reasons for this presumptions, firstly cause their far too old
(It appears as though Lego will only go so far back
possibly only 10-15 years
past?), and secondly cause theyre made with inferior parts. (Lego probably
will never reissue their classic space helmets, but it would be very, very
interesting if Lego did bring back #375 with modern helmets and visors.)
So I guess this confirms it. First you hinted and now confirmed it for us,
(and I trust you) along with the mirroring statements of 1000bricks in
Germany. http://www.1000steine.de/marktplatz/classics/
WoW, so I guess the inevitable statement can be announced!
-LEGO will be offering older sets in the guise of Lego Classic for the
next few years.-
This means that the AFOL will definitely have an impact on the future
choices made!
Sincerely,

| (...) I have noticed this assertion being made from time to time and it all ways mystifies me -- why is the classic style helmet perceived to be so weak? I must have two or three dozens of these helmets and none show any damage or splitting (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Well, at least somebody believed me! :) (...) As Brad implied, the July surprise is still yet to come! I myself am giddly with anticipation. (...) Knight's procession is still doable. There's not the problem of old molds or replaced parts (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
