  Does anybody know ...?

Does anybody know if any of the current Castle sets have inverted corner slopes? Thanks. Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Wellllll... If I read you right, you mean those 2x2 *corner* pieces, smaller at the bottom, bigger at the top, that were rare until R2 and 3PO landed in LEGO? What I mean is there are *4* white ones in 7106 Droid Escape (Star Wars LEGO) that (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Yep-- these are great :) But what I'm really amazed at is the selection of "odd" slopes (corners & roof toppers) we've gotten from SW (the grey & dark grey is great for castle stuff): Light Grey: (URL) (Anakin's Podracer, Mos Espa) (URL) (...)   Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Well, I guess that is the answer I was looking for. You seem well versed on the availability of these items, so I guess I'm out of luck. I didn't realize that LUGNET had them rendered in all those colours. Anyways, just for the record this is (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) but sadly nothing I know of has come out recently with that piece in it. I think the best source of them was 6085 (Black Monarch's Castle) which had something like 12 of them! (...) (I think) from 6985 (Cosmic Fleet Voyager)-- [where else have (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Ah yes, also in <set:4536 Blue Hopper Car (4536)> ... anything else anyone knows of? DaveE (FUT general) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Dave, or anyone for that matter, is there a reference page for accessing those colour images easily? Thanks. Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) You'll want to check out: (URL) a guide to the colors at: (URL) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

With the slow trickle of Bulk Items, I wouldn't mind if Lego Direct came out with "parts pack" type bulk items where (for example) you had all 3 types of steep sloped bricks (1x2x3, 2x2x3, 2x2x3 corner) in a specific color set, or say inside/outside (...) (...) 2 in 6073 Knight's Castle (1984) 12 in 6085 Black Monarch's Castle (1988) 4 in 6086 Black Knight's Castle (1992) 1? 6076 Dark Dragon's Den (1993) 4 in 1785 Crater Critters (1995) I'm sure there are others, but I wasn't THAT bored :) DaveE (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Oh, sorry shoulda said specifically just in light grey... that's actually where I got 4/5 of the ones I listed. Very handy, BTW... (now it just needs MySQL'd! -- someday maybe you can feed it a set list and find out how many of a particular (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) yes, it would... Once the base database is larger, I could interface it with the public set lists from lugnet (why keep the data twice?), and you'd be able to type in your member number, and total up your pieces... or even do a limited search, (...)   Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) I noticed that the Lugnet parts database has more sets listed? Are there any plans to combine the two? Of course I also noticed that some parts were rather non-descript things like "red minifig torso w/ bendable arms", which would probably (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) the lists actually are combined, as far as I know - however, on peeron we list only parts that are actually found in any of the sets we have inventoried. we found it was quote frustrating to look up a piece, only to find there's no sets (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) I've resisted buying the Droid Escape set because of the stupid printing on the curvy walls - or are you saying those are decals? --Bill. (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Not decals, no. But some Brasso and a cloth will take the paint off. Joel J (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) The white walls are printed, but the grey ones aren't. (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) While I hate Lego decals, I have a moral objection to defacing Legos, even if it's an improvement. --Bill. (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) Yes! However they wish to do it, we really need to have access to all of the roof bricks that they ever made in all the colors they have made so far. I am thinking at least black, red, the two greys, blue, yellow... There are basic element (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Does anybody know ...?

(...) I'd settle for one of the 2 grays for now...or black. I'd rather see say the 3x4 bricks, 3x2 bricks, corners and tops available in seperate packs (3 types of pack). Like the red roof bricks, where you can get all the different types of them (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)
