Re: Elephant (Hannibal crossing Alps on Triceratops?)

(...) Excellent pachyderm dude! I agree with both you and Sean about the size, which is easily remedied, but it IS an awesome likeness. I love how you did the tail, very cool! Hey, if you do make it bigger maybe you could use grey 2x2 round bricks (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Hannibal crossing Alps on Triceratops?

(...) Add a brick to the torso thickness. African elephants have long legs, so the legs are fine. How about some tusks ? Maybe the 1 x 2 plate with side thingies in white. Nice job so far though. (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Guarded Inn

(...) Where did you get the corner walls in the yellow tudor design? I don't seem to recall any in castle sets...are they MOC? -- Richard (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Guarded Inn

(...) I cheated. when buying buckets of lego down boot sales I got lots of pirate stuff. ( I do kinda collect pirate stuff, but not so much) bit of masking tape, some car bumper back to black aerosol spray ~ viola. The good thing is it dosent matter (...) (...) I figured. I think some large-ish "Hydro something or other" set has some of these yellow corner walls too -- just without the tudor wall lines, of course. You know, and I hate to keep plugging this stupid page, but you can score a printable (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Weird skeletal extra

I recently acquired my ninth set containing a skeleton. All of the previous sets have contained a spare skeletal arm, which is fair enough considering the fragile nature of their connection to the torso. But this latest skeleton also had a spare (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Hannibal crossing Alps on Triceratops?

(...) Not too bad, all considered. Creating anything organic with Lego at minifig scale is quite a challenge. With an African elephant, the top of the head is more in line with the back, the back has something of a hump towards the rear, and the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) You... get... ectra parts!? GIMME! Rick (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Weird skeletal extra

(...) Nope! But I will say that out of all my skeleton parts, I've NEVER received a broken arm. Hence I've got scads of extra arms. BUT, the one part I HAVE received broken was a skeleton leg, which looked as though it had been slightly melted. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Weird skeletal extra

(...) I got a few of those chrome sets down here in Australia, and in the 4817 sets, of wich I got 8 of them... I got a spare leg and arm in each one...!!! Almost every set I've got in the past year, has come with extra... extra spears...(in a 3017 (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
