Re: Droid Escape parts useful for Castle

(...) What type of cloth would you use? Does that work for non-white and non-opaque pieces? Felix (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

They do have some discontinued sets from time to time, and usually at a slightly (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) It works just as well on transparent pieces. It will also remove scratches and other minor blemishes, which is handy for those ebay lots! :) Jeff "I'm begining to wonder if a lot of them aren't so much resilient as incredibly dense."   Re: Clone Weapons

The bow is playmobil ( one of their 'short bows'), I have no idea about the sword, it could be from a dozen different fantasy lines. Fritz (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Wizard's Tower/fortress

(...) It helps to get into the castle line if you buy a HUGE CHEAP CASTLE like the biggest fright knights one. It is still available at some stores like KB toys or Toyworks. The set comes with many walls, doors, and much more. (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle

(...) I got one of these recently and was pleasantly surprised. It's really much better than I expected it to be. A lot of good parts, and the design wasn't any worse than any other recent LEGO buildings. (no, it doesn't even compare to something (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Where can I get Samurai #3344?

working on sengoku jidai samurai battles and...

Hi, I'm working on some rather large scale battles (in lego of course) set in Japan in the 1500s. I've managed to accumulate the required numbers of minifigs (ashigaru, yari ashigaru, teppo ashigaru, archers, cavalry, etc) but I have a problem. As (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: working on sengoku jidai samurai battles and...

(...) Well...there's the "space jetpack" piece from a while back. Unfortunately, it's not only hard to get ahold of but it also has a high-tech front. Might be good for space samurai, but that's about it. The only thing I can think of offhand is (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: working on sengoku jidai samurai battles and...

(...) I've tried, with a fair amount of success, getting a very tiny drill bit and drilling a hole in the back of the 'samurai' armor piece and then inserting a lance w/banner into it. I've only done it twice and usually only use one in any single (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: working on sengoku jidai samurai battles and...

(...) I recommend using two very small rubber bands or some string, one at the neck, and one at the waist. Then you can just strap on the banner. HTH ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

HELP! Can someone answer me this.......

Would anyone know how long it takes for a package to be sent? I live in Oklahoma City, and a friend said it should take about 4-5 days for it to get to me. It's been 7 days already. And, for anyone who ordered any of the chrome knight sets, did they (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: working on sengoku jidai samurai battles and...

Well, you could always attach the flag with a small bit of tape, glue or putty. Brian (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: HELP! Can someone answer me this.......

(...) Slooowww Down. Where are they being sent from? I'm assuming you ordered from LEGO Shop at Home. If so, most shipments these days seem to be delivered via USPS Priority Mail, shipping from Connecticut. Priority Mail has no service delivery (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: HELP! Can someone answer me this.......

(...) I'd say give it a couple of days before you start to worry. I'm not sure where you're expecting a package from (LEGO Shop at Home?), but the first thing to do is check with them and find out when it was sent, and how. If it is S@H you're (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle

(...) Has TLC actually said they're going to have Harry Potter as the -only- castle line running? I've been under the impression that it would be more like the Star Wars theme... Star Wars is a space theme, but it didn't replace their own space (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle

In my area, all the local Wal Marts have/had this set CLEARANCED for $60 after New Years.... take that to mean what you will, but the only other clearanced sets are Star Wars Y Wing/TIE and the big Bulls set (forget the name and #). (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle

(...) Yes it did. while you can occasionally find a insectoid set at TRU they haven't had a new space set in a few years I hope castle doesn't get replaced but Harry Potter isn't really a castle theme like star wars is a space theme. hopefully there (...)   Forest of Blood: Episode 2

Well; it took me long enough. Sadly, a bit of writter's block and burnout from trying to clean up the images slowed the process as my moods took an abrupt left turn into .space as may have been noticed the last few weeks (Or not). While it's nothing (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
