I really keep it pretty even. I divide my castle guys up into 5 groups,
most of which are pretty obvious distinctions:
1. Camelot Knights: Always "the good guys". Heroes in just about every
sense and they have the best castle setup of all the groups. Other than the
guys with the "Royal Knights" logo, they are distinguished from my
Black/Falcon Knights only by the color of their helmets (which reminds me, I
ought to change it; Black Knights OUGHT to all have black helmets, right?).
Fortress is an island with the Royal Knights Castle on it, connected to the
mainland by the Royal Drawbridge
2. Black/Falcon Knights: Change loyalties. Sometimes very much like the
Camelot Knights and their closest allies, sometimes in league with the "bad
guys" of the theme. Probably my most interesting characters.... Their
fortress is the very old Knight's Castle set, spread apart, with various
other wall sections surrounding a large courtyard in which I have made a
kitchen, dining room, and barracks.
3. Dark Forest Robbers: On their own, but will ally with anybody for the
right price. Made up of Forestmen and Dark Forest sets (with one wolfpack
guy), they are sometimes (usually) joined with my 3 gungans and/or 5 ninja
robbers. Main building is Dark Forest Fortress.
4. Dragon Masters: The bad guys. Always the bad guys. They are some Dragon
Masters sets and the Night Lord's castle, the latter of which (including the
"bat lord") I've given a demonic tinge, darkening the whole storyline quite
a bit. He's the only one who puts my undead to use, and even then not too
often.
5. Ninjas. On their own for the most part, but hate the Dragon Masters.
They want to be left alone, but get entangled in the conflict. I made their
fortress by combining the "emperor's stronghold", "robber's retreat", and
the small samurai tower. I used to make the ninjas much better fighters
than they are now, but considering I have 9 of them now (most of my castle
groups have 15-18 people) I've had to drop them down a notch.
Thanks for reading! And tell me what you think I guess....

| I'm curious; do you prefer to make more bad guys or do you prefer good guys? When I ask this, I'm asking everyone. Please respond. I myself prefer the bad side of people because most of them have more interesting weapons than others, and also (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)
