  Inverted 2x2 Gray Corner slopes...

Is it just me or do I see some 2x2 inverted gray corner slopes on set 7106 in this picture... (It's the escape pod). (URL) so I very excited. These havn't been available for a few years and they make great architectural elements. Eric Kingsley The (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

(...) Wow! Good eyes! It does indeed look like four (!) of them... and in a relatively inexpesive set, too! eric (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

Depending on the lighting they might be white? Frankly, I'd be satisfied with either, but you are correct, Eric; they are excellent pieces to spruce up any building. -Kyle (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

(...) Wow, I'm starting to move quickly, those older posts are quicker to deal with (partly due to finally getting back to the discussion of the 2000 sets, partly because many of the creations are already linked). I'm down to about 1100 posts to (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

I just came across a full display of the chrome castle sets in a KB toy works. I picked up set 4819 that I couldn't get from S@H. They are asking $5.99 a pop for these sets. I thought they weren't supposed to hit regualr toy stores? Hmmmmm. Anyway (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Hey folks. Thanks for the feedback! I went ahead and uploaded some more pictures for your enjoyment: (URL) realize the page is taking a lot longer to open. I'll be creating a more formal page fairly soon. Having a digital camera is way cool. -Kyle (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Pics.....corn stalks

(...) Fabulous stuff, Kyle! I like the incorporation of the Playmobile flag. Why do they get so many more heralds than we do, anyway? Your black knight is deth legonified. Very intimidating!   Re: LEGO 2001

(...) Are you sure this is a 4x4x5 quarter-cirle and not a half-round? If so, **happy day!** Finally, fully-scalable funnels! best Lindsay (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) It could be a half round, but the Alpha Team's enemie's base is built on a 6416 style baseplate, and looks like it has a curved wall around the stairs, which are a quarter circle, and the wall would be 4x4 to fit the curve.   Knights Kingdom, Steel in short supply?

Why is anyone guarding the "guarded treasury", the only treasure there is the silver sword, and Cedric already has it! He comes with it in the Bulls attack! Not only does he have it, but his idiot catapult friend has one too! In fact the things are (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Knights Kingdom, Steel in short supply?

(...) Maybe the Bulls are counterfeiting them, and the guard has to make sure future generations will be able to know which silver sword is the original. I mean, the Bulls are bad guys, they are probably up to something. (...) Yes, I noticed that. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Knights Kingdom, Steel in short supply?

Now this is a good explanation! A whole counterfeit racket! I am glad you came up with that, because I was getting ready to write the whole 2000 series off (even though I bought them all, thus enabling my co dependent relationship with Lego) (...) (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle)
